Solo Mother, Sacred Grief.
A Healing Circle for BIPOC Mamas

A sanctuary for Solo Mamas
(This group is exclusively for BIPOC mamas and is a queer- and trans-affirming space.)
Solo Mother, Sacred Grief is a six-session healing circle for BIPOC solo mothers who are navigating raising children while carrying the weight of the silent grief:
The grief of mothering alone
The grief of unmet needs and invisible labor
The grief of who we were before motherhood
The grief of loss—of dreams, of people, of partnership
The grief that lives in our lineage
We come together because our grief deserves to be witnessed, remembered, and restored. Because you should not have to carry it alone. Because even the strongest mamas need a place to lay it down.
This space is for you if:
You identify as BIPOC and are a solo mother. (this group is queer and trans affirming, though not exclusive: for those who identify as mothers (cis & trans) and/or non-binary AFAB parents.)
You are grieving—openly or quietly, presently or ancestrally.
You long to be held in a space where you don’t have to explain your experience.
You want to gather with other women who mother through grief, rage, love, and resilience.
This group is not therapy.
This is not a support group with surface talk.
This is a spirit-rooted space—held with reverence, tenderness, and truth.
The Structure:
Solo Mother, Sacred Grief is a six-session virtual circle that meets every two weeks on Thursday evenings at 9:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM PT.
Each session lasts 75 minutes and is held live on Zoom in an intimate, closed group of up to 12 participants.
As we hold each other in sacred grief, we will learn to seek refuge in our wisest mother, Mother Earth, while being held by our Egun (Ancestors). Each session begins with a prayer to invoke our Egun and spiritual guides to create a safe container. We will practice seeking healing with one of Mother Earth’s four sacred elements: earth, air, fire, and water.
Each session includes:
A grounding ritual or body-based somatic practice
A weekly theme and prompt to guide our circle
Collective witnessing + communal space for story, silence, and tears
Journal/reflection practices to carry between sessions
By grounding in our Egun, Spiritual Court, and Mother Earth, we are connecting to our sacred ancestral lineages that carry the wisdom to heal, cleanse, transform, and guide us towards freedom.
📅 Our Sessions:
We meet on the following Thursdays:
July 17 – Opening the Portal: Naming the Grief
July 31 – Loneliness, Invisible Labor & Unseen Grief
August 14 – The Loss of Partnership (even if never existed/wasn’t safe)
August 28 – Lineage Grief & Lineage Repair
September 11 – Mothering Our Inner Child While Raising a Child
September 25 – Integration, Closing Ritual & Blessing
✨ Please note: All sessions are not recorded in order to protect the privacy of our mamas and the spiritual energy of the group.

Financial Exchange
We believe healing should be accessible, equitable, and rooted in sacred reciprocity. That’s why we’re offering a sliding scale pricing structure, so that BIPOC solo mamas from all walks of life can access this circle.
We invite you to choose a rate that best reflects your current resources:
✨ Community Rate: $150. For the mamas with limited financial access. An invitation to come as you are, with no shame.
✨ Sustainer Rate: $275. The true cost of the circle. Supports our time, labor, and energetic care.
✨ Supporter Rate: $325. For those with more access. Helps fund scholarship spots for mamas in need.
✨ If you need deeper financial support, you can apply for a scholarship on the application form.

How to Apply
This is a closed, intimate circle with space for only 12 BIPOC solo mamas.
We invite each interested mama to complete a brief application so we can establish a group grounded in shared intention, resonance, and readiness.
Applications are OPEN:
🗓️ June 6 – July 6, 2025
The application is brief and should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
All applicants will be notified by July 10th.
If accepted, you’ll receive a welcome email with our full session schedule, initial group agreements, guidance for session preparation, and payment/scholarship information.
✨ We honor every story. Not all applicants will be accepted because of our commitment to keeping this an intimate group. Trust that the right circle always finds its shape.
