Sacred Grief Counseling
Grief Counseling & Sacred Guidance for Those Navigating Loss in all Forms.
Rooted in grief psychology, ancestral wisdom, and lived practice.
Grief is Sacred. And, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
What is Sacred Grief Counseling?
Sacred Grief Counseling is a structured, heart-centered form of grief support that integrates emotional processing, embodied awareness, spiritual care, and ancestral wisdom. It’s a space where your grief is honored, where there’s no pressure to “move on,” only an invitation to move through with care and intention.
Loss changes us. Grief moves in waves, not stages.
Because of this, grief is best tended over time, within a held container that allows trust, depth, and continuity to form.
In our work together, grief is:
Witnessed rather than analyzed
Honored rather than minimized
Integrated rather than overcome
This is the work of grief alchemy—guided grief care that supports integration, meaning-making, and embodied change over time.
What You Can Expect
Grief is a landscape with no single map. Our time together offers a steady compass, a way of navigating loss with care, discernment, and intention.
In our sessions, you can expect:
A supportive, non-clinical approach that weaves together emotional processing, embodied awareness, and sacred, intuitive guidance.
Skilled presence and deep listening, grounded in grief psychology, ancestral wisdom, and lived practice.
Practical tools to help you express, hold, and integrate grief in ways that feel natural and sustainable.
Permission to grieve outside of timelines, productivity, or expectations to “move on.”
Ritual and reflective practices, when appropriate, to support meaning-making, remembrance, and integration.
A sacred, judgment-free container where nothing needs to be fixed, explained, or justified.
Each session is an invitation to meet yourself where you are, to be witnessed, supported, and guided with care that honors both your loss and your capacity to live alongside it.
This is for you if you:
Are grieving the death or transition of a loved one
Are navigating layered grief shaped by family history, identity, culture, or collective experience
Feel grief living in your body as fatigue, tightness, numbness, or overwhelm
Are experiencing anticipatory grief, navigating the impending loss of a loved one, or mourning the life they once knew
Are tired of being “the strong one”
Seek grief counseling that honors ancestral, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of loss
Desire a safe, non-judgmental space to express the depth of your emotions
You do not need the right words.
You only need a willingness to be met.
Your Grief Deserves to Be Witnessed.
Choose the support that meets you where you are.

Sacred Grief Ritual
75-Minute Guided Session
This single session is a threshold offering for those who need immediate support or are seeking guidance around a specific moment in their grief journey.
It is not the primary path for this work, but a place to pause, breathe, and be witnessed when support is needed most.
This session may be supportive if you are:
In acute grief or emotional overwhelm
Navigating a specific transition, decision, or anniversary
Unsure where to begin, but know you don’t want to carry this alone
Together, we will gently tend to what is present, drawing on embodied awareness, sacred listening, and ritual when appropriate.
This session does not replace ongoing grief support, but it can offer grounding, clarity, and care in a moment of need.
Sliding Scale: $111-177
Grief Sanctuary — Ongoing Support
For those who wish to continue beyond an initial counseling container, ongoing support may be available through the Grief Sanctuary.
This offering is not selected in advance.
It is discussed after completing a container and shaped collaboratively based on your needs, capacity, and rhythm.
Some people come for continued monthly support.
Others return during seasons of grief, transition, or remembrance.
Why a Sliding Scale?
I honor the truth that grief does not discriminate, but access to healing often does.
A sliding scale allows those with greater financial resources to invest at the higher end, making it possible for me to support those with fewer resources. If you need financial accessibility, I encourage you to select the lower end of the scale. If the listed rates are beyond your means, please reach out to discuss a rate that works for you. Limited community-supported spots are available.
If you can, I invite you to invest at the full rate to help sustain this sacred work.
FAQs

My approach is holistic and rooted in both ancient and modern wisdom. I blend compassionate counseling, somatic practices, and spiritual ritual to honor grief as a living, sentient experience—not something to fix, but something to tend to. Together, we explore grief’s lessons, engage the body, mind, and spirit, and create space for healing in a way that feels organic and deeply personal.
-
Not at all. Grief is not just about death—it’s about change, transition, and loss in many forms. You may be grieving the end of a relationship, a career shift, a move, a loss of identity, or something intangible that words can’t quite capture. If something in you feels heavy, unprocessed, or longing to be witnessed, this space is for you.
-
No. My work is different from traditional Western therapy—it is holistic, rooted in spiritual and ancestral wisdom, and honors grief as a living process rather than something to "resolve." While we may explore emotions and deep inner work, this is not clinical psychotherapy and is not a substitute for mental health treatment.
-
Grief is a deeply personal journey—there is no timeline. Some people find relief in just a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing, long-term support. My approach is flexible and guided by your needs—we can discuss your goals in a free 15-minute consultation and find what feels best for you.
-
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by loss, stuck in your grief, or seeking a sacred space to process your emotions, grief counseling may be a good fit. There is no “right way” to grieve, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Schedule a free 25-minute consultation, and we’ll explore whether this support feels aligned for you.
-
That’s okay. Grief can feel confusing, heavy, or even wordless at times. If you’re feeling drawn to this work but aren’t sure what you need, book a free consultation, and we’ll explore together. There’s no pressure—just a space to be heard and to see what feels right for you.

I offer both online and in-person sessions, depending on your preference and location.
Online sessions are held via Zoom, offering you a private and convenient space to receive support from anywhere.
In-person sessions are available in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for those who prefer face-to-face support.
No matter the format, you’ll receive the same compassionate, deeply held space for your grief.

Each session is unique and shaped by your needs, emotions, and where you are in your journey. Some sessions may be focused on talking, processing, and deep listening, while others may incorporate ritual, somatic (body-based) practices, or ancestral connection work. My role is to hold space, offer gentle guidance, and help you move through grief in a way that feels safe and honoring to you.
